Transforming Education
Unstoppable Learning empowers every maths teacher to deliver extraordinary results — with an approach so precise, it makes failure almost impossible.
We’re redefining what’s possible, school by school, teacher by teacher.
95% of students can achieve a Grade 9 in mathematics
What if...
What if 95% of the children you know today in Year 7 could secure Grade 7-9 in GCSE maths?
Nationally, only 17% do. Our approach transforms expectations and delivers results.
It's bold, and it's working.
Make Failure Impossible
We coach maths teachers to make failure impossible.
Our scientifically designed method gives every teacher - specialist or not - the tools to deliver exceptional maths learning, every lesson, every day.
Remember why
Remember why you became a maths teacher?
We help you get that feeling back.
Unstoppable Learning gives you a clear, energising way to teach maths - bring joy, control, and clarity to your classroom.
"I LOVE the detail here - such a powerful list - I reflect on when I taught simultaneous equations and I suspect I taught a handful of these atoms at best. How much better I would teach it now with this kind of understanding."
It all starts with atomisation

Everything you teach is made up of only four elements.

We atomise all maths into its core components, and then rebuild it through the four powerful elements.
Know the four elements and you know how to teach anything.
The result? Students don't just 'get' maths - they gain unstoppable confidence.

"Atomisation is fundamental to my planning process... it has been a game-changer in terms of how quickly my students grasp new ideas."

Ark King Solomon Academy
Where Kris first introduced atomisation in 2013. By 2015 KSA was top of the national league tables for non-selective schools. 100% of the children taught by Kris that year achieved Grade 7+, with 91% achieving Grades 8-9.*
Michaela Community School
Where Naveen formed part of the founding maths team, designing instructional materials still used today. In 2025 Michael came top for Progress 8, with a score of 2.56, and 95% of students achieving a Grade 5+ in maths.

United Learning Trust
A comprehensive and coherent KS3-4 curriculum was meticulously crafted by Naveen from the ground up. Today, these materials are used in hundreds of schools across the country.
Up Learn
While at Up Learn, where Kris made atomisation a key part of the content design, 95% of students who completed courses achieved an A or A* in their A Level exams.

Ilfracombe Academy
GCSE maths 4+ results at Ilfracombe Academy jumped by 19 points in 2024, from 59% to 78%, after just one year of support from Naveen as National Director of Mathematics.
Moreton School
Lee Wheeler and James Watton were the first pioneers to work with Unstoppable Learning. Following a few months of support, and with a focus only on effective teaching and deep student mathematical understanding, their Grade 4+ predications have leapt from 51% in 2024, to 67%.

“Students are learning so much more now, and they remember everything! Actual results have changed. From 51% last year they might even push above 70% Grade 4+ this year. For our school, that's a ridiculous leap to make in just one year. Formative assessments across all year groups have improved. Staff morale has improved, and it makes departmental discussions more focused and meaningful. For me specifically, student retention has massively increased, largely because of the hybrid strand design. Feedback is significantly more meaningful as you can be laser focused on exactly what pupils have got wrong.”
"Unstoppable Learning's methodical approach to teaching clearly reflects a deep understanding of the cognitive challenges pupils face when learning complex procedures. I find it exciting that they’ve created a method that can support pupils at every level. This routine almost guarantees mastery if followed through properly. Overall, the approach is robust and evidence-based. The atomisation is well justified, and the overt-to-covert progression is a solid method to ensure mastery."

"Since we've rolled it out it's been resoundingly successful. Literally from the first lesson it's been incredible."

Shayan
Amethyst Academies Trust
"This process of teaching atoms separately, along with using well thought out examples, that show the limits of the skill, actually helps students build way more conceptual understanding."

Sam Olderbak
Tolleson Union High School District
"I’m seeing considerable improvements in understanding and retention from lesson to lesson, students are more engaged and remembering more!"

Noah Rudkin
Kings Hawthornes Leadership Academy
"One word, pride. It's changed my perception of the job. It's made me feel like a real maths teacher, like I’ve got a specialism and a set of skills that someone who isn't a maths teacher probably doesn't have; a feeling of expertise."

Chris
Moreton School
"I really appreciate the precision of their approach – every detail seems carefully considered. It gives pupils a real sense of purpose and makes them feel like they’re learning something advanced. This strategy could transform their engagement and belief in their own potential."

Mark McCourt
Academy Transformation Trust
"There’s no way any one of them can fail when you teach this way. Ever since I started the programme, there’s so much I can’t un-see."

Kylee Cole
Mastery Schools Australia
"Atomisation is fundamental to my planning process... it has been a game-changer in terms of how quickly my students grasp new ideas."

Craig Barton
Eedi
"The ideas from atomisation have improved me as a practitioner; the clear structure provided has helped me to improve in all aspects of teaching. It's exciting to see how this will develop over the coming months and years"

Michael Tosh
Great Schools Trust
"Students’ engagement in maths has improved, and they have had success throughout, building mathematical knowledge as they are given the opportunity to learn each atom, before chaining them together into a routine."

James Watton
Moreton School
"I LOVE the detail here - such a powerful list - I reflect on when I taught simultaneous equations and I suspect I taught a handful of these atoms at best. How much better I would teach it now with this kind of understanding."

Emma McCrea
Oak National Academy
"It's so useful because every issue I come across they have already solved."

Lee Wheeler
Amethyst Academies Trust
"With so much material out there on cognitive load and direct instruction, to avoid treading water, it’s vital for us that any training or CPD takes into account our current understanding, quickly consolidates it and focuses on how to move forward. Kris is an expert at this! His vast knowledge ensured that from meeting one we hit the ground running!
"After the first session, I already had actionable takeaways. That same week, a colleague was being observed teaching the very same lesson. Without more than a brief conversation, the lesson was a huge success! My colleague achieved 100% understanding in the lesson and the observers were highly complimentary of the lesson. My colleague came to me immediately after wanting the book, article or podcast which discussed the underpinning pedagogy. We will look to roll it out to the wider team in August. However, it is already having an impact on student understanding, success and the team are already wanting to know more!"

Kris
Kris Boulton is an international teacher trainer and education writer, with extensive experience advising on national frameworks and standards. He served as an expert advisor on the Early Career Framework (ECT) and Ofsted’s mathematics inspection framework. His advisory roles also include consulting for NFER on the mathematics National Reference Test and supporting Ofqual in evaluating exam board submissions for AS Core Mathematics.
Early in his teaching career, Kris joined King Solomon Academy, an inner-city school serving the most economically deprived ward in London. Within its first two years of GCSE results, the school ranked fourth—and then first—in the national league tables.
As Director at Teach First, Kristopher led the recruitment and training of 200 new teacher educators, supporting nearly 2,000 new trainee teachers each year. Later, as Chief Education and Product Officer at Up Learn, he designed a learning system that guaranteed students an A or A* at A Level—or their money back. That system is now used by a third of all A Level students and in over 600 schools.
His work has been featured on Craig Barton’s maths podcast, in the TES, and in several ResearchED publications on assessment and Direct Instruction. His recent ResearchED talk explores the limitations—and enduring value—of Cognitive Science and Cognitive Load Theory in shaping effective instructional design.
Kristopher’s core interest lies in educational approaches that work for all pupils, not just some. He champions methods that improve outcomes without increasing teacher workload. He is currently writing a book that underpins Unstoppable Learning’s Mathematics Transformation Programme—founded to help teachers and schools achieve exceptional results and make every lesson one of success for every child, and every teacher.
